There are some exciting and new courses being offered at Lincoln High School that began during the 2008-2009 school year.  The state department of education has encouraged the use of technology; teachers and students are really capitalizing on the many opportunities being created for accessing technology.  ACCESS is an on-line and distance learning program that is paving the way for schools in areas that typically do not have as many course offerings as urban school districts.  The typical distance learning class (DLC) consists of students in one location receiving instruction from a teacher in another location.  The classes usually have a lower teacher to pupil ratio and the students are monitored and assisted by a trained facilitator. We are proud to announce that LHS will be offering a wide variety of advanced courses via distance learning and in the tradition classroom direct instruction environment.  Here are some of our class offerings.
