Dual Enrollment

Dual enrollment permits eligible high school students to enroll in college courses concurrently with high school classes. Students earn college credit for courses that meet the curriculum requirements of approved high school courses.  Classes may be offered on  campuses, online, or onsite at Lincoln High School. Students may take courses during the fall, spring, or summer semesters.

  • Students in the 10th, 11th or 12th grade
  • Students with a 2.5 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale  a 2.0 for approved technical programs only
  • Those receiving high school approval
  • Complete the admissions application to the appropriate school of choice 
  • Scholarships are funded by the Career Technical Dual Enrollment Grant from the Alabama Community College System.
  • Scholarships are awarded in the Fall based on availability and funding.

Students must apply for dual enrollment by May 1 of each academic year to be considered for a scholarship. Priority is given to technical programs. Scholarships may pay for up to two courses, books, materials, and supplies based on funding availability.
